This is my 21st year in the Aurora Public schools and my 30th year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I love my job! My students and families inspire me everyday. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, taking really long walks, and reading.

Monette Day / Cross-Categorical Teacher
Ms. Day joined the Sable community a little over three years ago and is excited about a third year working with students and families at Sable. She received her Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University (CSU-Pueblo) and her Master's degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Ms. Day has been teaching for over 20 years in both elementary and middle school settings. When she is not working with students at school, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Michelle Melvin / Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Mrs. Melvin is currently in her 27th year of teaching and 22nd year in APS. She got her Bachelor's degree in Elem Ed from the University of Northern Colorado and her Master's degree in Deaf Education from the University of Arizona, in Tucson. She lives with her husband and oldest son while he finishes his degree in welding. She just moved her youngest son to college in CA. When she is not teaching she enjoys reading, going to the mountains, and gardening.
Molly McDonald / Audiologist
Mrs. McDonald is currently in her 9th year with APS. She got her Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and Elementary Education from the Seattle Pacific University and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Colorado, in Boulder. She lives with her husband and young son. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, cooking and traveling.
