Parent Visitation

Visiting School

Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to visit their child's classroom throughout the year to see the many positive things going on in the APS. Please make arrangements in advance with the child's teacher. Short, well planned visits can provide a solid understanding of the child's school experience. Since small children tend to distract the pupils, we ask that parents/guardians not bring young children when visiting their child's classroom. Children not enrolled at the school must be accompanied by and adult at least 21 years old when visiting school.

In order to ensure that no unauthorized persons enter APS buildings, all parents/guardians and visitors are required to check in and out at the office upon entering the school and are required to wear a name/visitors badge while in the building. A government issued I.D. is required (e.g. Drivers License).
